Follow the steps to replace the headlight bulb used for high and low beams in a Nissan Micra.
- Find a new bulb at a shop or online. The price can range from 5 to 10 Euros depending on the brand and specifications . In this specific case the bulb attack is h4 and a power of 60 / 55w 12v
- Open the bonnet and locate the socket connected to the electric bulb, this is located at the center of a rubber cover circled in yellow in the figure below
- Pull the plug with your fingers trying to loosen it up to remove it
- Remove the rubber (now will be visible the attack of the bulb and the spring that stop it)
- Push the spring latch to the right side by releasing the bulb.
- Pull out the old bulb
- Insert the new bulb without touching with fingers the glass part , making sure to put the three tabs in the seat
- Insert the spring retainer with opposite movement in order to lock the bulb in the seat
- Replace the rubber making sure that it is well attached to the headlight housing
- Insert the electrical socket
